# Streak Maintenance
> Repair broken streak days and reserve future days with Stempos.

**Requires an upgraded plan.** Streak fixing and reserving future days are unlocked with a **Member**, Pro, or Lifetime subscription.
Life happens, vacations, illnesses, unexpected days off. The **Streak Maintenance Station** lets you repair broken streak days or reserve days in the future using **Stempos**, a special in-game currency. (See [Resources & Currency](/character-and-gear/resources-and-currency) for how to get Stempos.)
**How to repair or reserve days:**
1. **Open the tool.** On your streak page, tap **Fix dates with stempos**.
2. **Select dates.** The calendar enters selection mode. Tap the dates you want to fix or reserve.
3. **Review the cost** shown in the **Fix for X Stempos** button.
4. **Confirm.** Tap the button and your streak updates immediately.
5. **Made a mistake?** Tap **Clear** to reset your selection.
**Stempos cost:**
| Dates being fixed | Cost per day |
| ------------------------------------ | ------------------ |
| Future dates (not yet happened) | 1 Stempo |
| Past dates (within the last 30 days) | 2 Stempos |
| Past dates (more than 30 days ago) | Cannot be repaired |
Days you already wrote 444+ words on are never charged, the system recognizes the goal was already met and skips those dates in the cost calculation.
Reserving future days costs half as much as repairing past ones (1 vs 2 Stempos per day). If you know a vacation or busy week is coming, reserve those days in advance.

## Frequently Asked Questions
Only if it was within the past **30 days**. Once more than 30 days have passed, that broken period cannot be repaired, even with Stempos.
Future days cost **1 Stempo each**. Past days (within 30 days) cost **2 Stempos each**. Days you already wrote 444+ words on are free.
Streak fixing requires an upgraded plan. Tap **Upgrade Plan** on the streak page to see subscription options.
You don't have enough Stempos in your inventory. Scroll down to the [**Stempo Store**](/character-and-gear/resources-and-currency) on the streak page to purchase more.
Streak repairs are only available for breaks within the past **30 days**. Older missed days cannot be recovered. Going forward, use future-day reservations before planned breaks to avoid this.
Your streak day ends at midnight in your [**Account Timezone**](/account/account-and-settings). If your timezone is wrong (for example, still set to a city you no longer live in), midnight can fall at an unexpected time.
Update your timezone in account settings right away. If the break happened within the last 30 days, you can use Stempos to repair it.
