Browsing Community Maps

Where to find it: Left sidebar → Hero → Community Maps tab Open in 4TW ↗
  1. Browse other Dust Warriors’ public maps. The Community maps tab shows public maps from across the community. Each card shows the map name, the creator, and reaction counts.
  2. Open a map to explore it. You can click and explore the canvas freely. Use any active elements. Their functions work for visitors too.
  3. Check the Map Info. Click Map Info in the HUD toolbar to see the map’s details: Created by, Map name, Date of creation, Background name, and Number of items.
  4. Leave a reaction. Like what you see? Click Give reactions to leave an emoji reaction on the map.
  5. Save a favorite. Click the star icon and select Mark as favorite to save a map to your collection. You can revisit your favorite maps any time.
  6. View the creator’s profile. From the Map Info panel, click View profile to visit the map creator’s hero profile.
  7. Nominate for the Lookbook. If a map really impresses you, click Vote map 4 Look Book to nominate it for that week’s Maps Lookbook vote.

Maps Lookbook

Where to find it: Left sidebar → Community → Lookbook → Maps tab Open in 4TW ↗
The Maps Lookbook is a weekly showcase of the community’s favorite map looks, as voted on by Dust Warriors.
  1. Open the Lookbook. Go to Community → Lookbook and select the Maps tab.
  2. Browse this week’s nominees. The Vote for tab shows all maps nominated for this week’s vote. Each entry shows the map and its creator.
  3. Cast your vote. You get one vote per week. Click the vote button on the map you think deserves the spotlight. Once you vote, the button changes to “You’ve voted for this map.”
  4. See past winners. Switch to the Winners tab to browse previous Lookbook champions. A new winner is selected every Monday. When a winner is chosen, votes reset and the winner moves to the Winners tab.
Your map must be public before others can react, favorite, or nominate it for the Lookbook. Flip the access toggle in Settings on the Building Your Map page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Private maps are only visible to you. They won’t appear in Community Maps browsing, can’t receive reactions or favorites from other players, and can’t be nominated for the Lookbook. Your existing reactions and favorites are kept. They’ll come back if you make the map public again.
No. Only you can place, move, or remove elements on your own map. Visitors can explore, react, and favorite, but they can’t change anything.
Each Dust Warrior gets one vote in the Maps Lookbook. Nominate maps you love from the Community Maps tab using Vote map 4 Look Book. A new winner is picked every month, votes reset, and the winner is immortalized in the Winners tab.
Your map is probably set to private. Open the map, click Settings in the HUD toolbar, and toggle it to public.
