Battle Stats
Your hero has three battle stats that affect how fights play out. You improve them by equipping Battle Items (gear) and Companions from your Inventory.
Attack
Deal more damage to monsters. As your Attack gets higher, your words deal “extra” word damage to your active battle. For example, a 500-word monster can be defeated by writing only 400 actual words. Your words hit harder.

Defense
Add extra time to your battles.Extend the time you have to defeat a monster. For example, a 60-minute battle can stretch to 70+ minutes. Giving you more breathing room to write.

Luck
Increase your chances of better loot.As your Luck gets higher, you’ll get more items from won battles. For example, defeating a monster might drop 2 items instead of 1.

Battle Items
Battle Items are your combat loadout. They slot into your hero’s equipment (Weapon 1, Weapon 2, Head, Chest, Feet, and Accessory). and each one boosts one or more of your three battle stats.Equipping Battle Items
